Round 3 is now open!
BGE is offering $20,000 BGE Energizing Small Business Grants to eligible small businesses across Maryland for COVID-19 relief and recovery. Applications for Round 3 are open through October 13, 2021.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be an existing Baltimore Gas and Electric customer (Business or Personal 10-digit BGE account number)
Have between one and 25 employees
Less than $7 million in annual revenue
Demonstrated need for support
A strong plan for moving forward,
For-profit business and be in (or on the way to) good standing with the State of Maryland. (Sole Proprietors Included)
Not a requirement, but priority will be given to historically underrepresented groups.
Are you certified by the State of Maryland as any of the following? *
If so provide the certification number
Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
Small Business Enterprise (SBE)
Are you a certified Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) or Economically Disadvantaged WOSB (EDWOSB)?
Each Grant Recipient will receive $20,000 (a “Grant”).
